MSC Malaysia Undergraduate Skills Programme (USP)

USP is specifically designed for Undergraduates who wish to enhance their skills in programming, database, operating systems, networking and much more. These technical and soft skill courses are inline with today’s ICT industry needs and will increase the marketability of Malaysian Undergraduates. USP is conducted at Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) on customised basis.

Under the USP, the courses identified are:

Basic Project Management
Building Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (JEE) Web Application
Personal Home Page (PHP) 6 Developer
Fundamentals of 2D Design Using Flash
Fundamentals of 2D Design Using Toon Boom
Unix/Linux System Administration
C++ Programming
Asynchronous Java Script and XML (AJAX) Programming with Java Technology
Extensible Markup Language (XML)
Mobile Phone Applications Development With Java Micro Edition (ME) Technology
Fundamentals of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

PROGRAMME DETAILS

Duration - 20 days (9am-5pm on a daily basis) or weekends
When - During semester break / after final year exams (before convocation)
Location - In training labs provided by the IHLs
Training Cost - Free for undergraduates and IHLs
Food, accommodation & transport cost - To be borne by undergraduates
Training shall be conducted with a minimum of 12 students from the same IHL

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Malaysian
Final year student
Current CGPA of 2.5 and above
Passed the pre-assessment test for non-IT students

HOW TO APPLY

All applications must be made through IHL Industry Liaison Officer or Lecturer.
